Prince Boat Dock is located off Highway 28 in Graham County, North Carolina on Fontana Lake. This 10,230 acre scenic lake has more than 230 miles of shoreline, and is located on the southern edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Nantahala National Forest, on the Little Tennessee River.
Fontana Dam, at an elevation of around 1700 feet, is 480 feet high and 2,365 feet wide. It is the highest dam east of the Rocky Mountains. With areas reaching depths of 400 feet, Fontana is one of the deepest lakes in the region. This lake attracts fishermen from all over the country and with abundant walleye pike, crappie, small and large mouth bass, trout, and perch, offers some of the best fishing in the southeast.

Directions from Bryson City : Follow Highway 74, and turn north on Highway 28. Continue for appx. 8 miles. Turn on Lower Panther Creek road on your right, and continue approximately one half mile. Look for "Prince Boat Dock Rd" sign on your left. Turn onto road and follow signs to dock and boat ramp.
